It's my understanding though the way Thor operates is that each unit of Thor builds how they want to as long as they sell. I recall reading the article on Thor in Business Week and one of the founding members of Thor said something to the effect that they can buid pink RV's as long as they sell them.
I think the Euro Airstreams have power coated frames, and to be honest, given the higher costs of Airstreams, I could see this finally making it into the production of Airstreams. I mean up until a few years ago, they never coated the outside edge of the plywood, now they do. Perhaps they will eventually include this refinement as well...hopefully.
This is a very nice looking RV though. I to wonder what they cost. I'm 5' 7", so call me an Oomploompa if you will, but this would work for me.
