anyone collect coleman lanterns?

just curious if anyone else collects coleman lanterns and stoves?

i have about 15 lamps and lanterns and a couple of stoves.

Yes, right now we only collect the lanterns tho my other half would love to expand into cooking stoves, etc.

but I actually have one in my basement! how many people have airstreams in their basement, and are not obsessed with them?

actually, I always bring it with us on camping trips, "just in case"...but have seldom used it. Outdoors, it always seems that its too hot, or it draws too many bugs. I bought it to bring to a rustic camp that we used to rent anually. It was just the thing to have, there, as the gas lamps in the cabin were either ill-placed, or didn't throw enough light for reading. @elevation in the Maine mountains, its never too hot, and there was a nice screened-in porch, so bugs weren't a problem....

here are some pics, this one is almost as old as my house (1917 or so) and still works!

note the original package of spare mantles!

world war two lantern, one mantle, tool kit built in and a funnel on a chain.

can burn leaded gas, unleaded, kerosene and liberated brandy in france!

This is the lantern that actually kicked off our collecting frenzy awhile back. We found one at a yard sale for $5! We don't have the original package of spare mantles, though!

seem to, i have had the yellow one on a picnic table next to a clear one, the bugs go for the clear one.
