I'm guessing that your alter ego was looking at Victoria's Secret Website.

The ads I see at least are based on where I have been browsing previously. I visited a tire web page a few days ago. Since then that store's ad has been at the top of the Page.

Great thread!
Now, I think I'll go start something on "The Argue Thread".

The 4th dimension isn't any fun anymore.

Sell your tesseract now before prices crash.

Victoria has a secret website? Now the ads are more normal...Insurance, tires, etc. Oh well.

I was going to sell my tesseract, but my dog just knocked it off the table with her tail and it broke into a million pieces. I guess I'll miss that boat...

Speaking of Boats. Try visiting a bunch of boats for sale sites and I'll bet you start to get marine supply ads.

Yes, I got that same advertisement, but I had recently visited the Secrets in Lace web site,

Stockings by Secrets in Lace - Lingerie, Nylon Stockings, Bras, Girdles, Garter Belts, Seamed Stockings, Retro Lingerie, Vintage Lingerie

(which is where Victoria will probably go when she gets a little older, and nostalgic.)

Big Google is Watching You.

But I haven't decided yet whether this correlated advertising is really such a bad thing. . .

Mrs AirheadsRus is on the forums a lot. She also loves to cook. All I see are ads from Spatula City. We have almost every spatula they sell.

I feel the same way. I resent being tracked, but every once in awhile, a helpful ad shows up.

It's kind of like have this annoying guy following you all around town, but then, when you're just about ready to turn around and punch him, he taps you on the shoulder and says, "You know, they have some really good chocolate peanut butter cheese cake right over there."

Whatya gonna do.

Install AdBlock into your browser and never see these ads again. If you're going to do that, however, you SHOULD support the website since it's their primary way of generating revenue... speaking of which, I"m off to finally donate.

I am not sure I want to sell now Gene. Andy said he had a major announcement coming in Sept. and I figure it is this new "TESSARACT" suspension for the Airstream trailers we've been reading about.

This suspension will have no problem lasting a true lifetime as no point gets continual wear or stress.

Unfortunately Airstream will only warrant it for one year unless professionally inspected.

Lew might put on an INTERNET seminar to explain that you have to have it inspected by a certified RV tech every year to maintain your warranty.

This is going to be a big breakthru for RV suspensions.

Dave

Well, that won't solve my problem, I don't want to miss the chocolate peanut butter cheese cake.

This is just great. Now I have to go find some chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. I like talking about rivets and axles and tessaract suspensions and spatulas and what not, but you say chocolate peanut butter cheesecake and I don't care about anything but getting some chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. Hoping that if I say chocolate peanut butter cheesecake enough that Google will put ads for chocolate peanut butter cheesecake on my page. Bring it Google.

Yeah I have never seen an ad on the forums.

This is an interesting thread. I might even stay on topic.
