How to get rich quick?

This may have been discussed on some other thread as it happened while I was on the road.

My thought here is just start an aluminium structured RV company and sit back and wait on THOR to take you out.

This happened in Aug. 2013

The publicly traded company, which says it is the world’s largest producer of RVs, moved its corporate headquarters from Jackson, Center, Ohio, to Elkhart earlier this year. In August, Thor purchased Livin’ Lite, an RV company headquartered in Wakarusa.
The company reported sales of $3.24 billion for its fiscal year ending July 31. It also reported profits of $151.7 million, a 36 percent jump compared with the previous year.

LivinLite All Aluminum Ultra Light Campers, Ultralight Campers, Lightweight Campers, Ultra-Lightweight Campers

Check out the all aluminium lite products.

The website says:

Livin' Lite is a leading manufacturer of Quicksilver all-aluminum constructed Ultra-Lite Weight Tent Campers, Truck Campers, and Sport Utility Trailers. Unlike traditional tent campers that are constructed of wood, QUICKSILVER features lightweight aluminum construction throughout. Livin' Lite manufactures Quicksilver All Aluminum Ultra Light Campers, Ultralight Campers, Lightweight Campers, Ultra-Lightweight Campers

That tells me all aluminium construction and skin. However, if you go to the 5th wheel section you will find it still rides on steel.

The all-new CAMPLITE 5th wheel line built of aluminum and composites, rides on a LITETECH frame that is hundreds of pounds lighter than a traditionally built steel frame. It is the most technologically advanced steel frame design on the market today. The LITETECH frame is dipped in a protective E-coating that effectively fights oxidation and eliminates the possibility of oxidation spreading should the frame ever suffer a significant scratch. The E-coating dip/bath is expensive, but it is well worth the extra effort and cost.

For those of us who have run the ALCAN route this little video reminds us that it was not always paved.

If you are a Chevy follower this will be a bonus video worth watching.

1957 was a boom year for cars, trucks and full of optimism for the future, but recession hit the industry hard in 1958.

As a matter of fact I do. Every fall I make enough Salsa to have a minimum of 50 gallons on hand. This year I ended up with 56.25 gallons with the heat ranges being from mild to wild. I've been making it for over 20 years so I'm finally getting pretty good at it.

I do not sell it as I eat a lot of it, use it for gifts and treat folks along the way.

I eat it on most things with the exception of cereal and ice cream.

How Cold Is It?

With the current lack of GLOBAL WARMING, Canada T builds the new truck for towing that Airstream?

Behind the Scenes Documentary of the Canadian Tire Ice Truck (Winter 2013) - YouTube

See the truck at about 2:30 of the video.

Great marketing! I wonder if Molson Canadian is clammering to fill the box with their brew?

I like the ice truck almost as much as WestJet's 2014 Christmas Miracle - which now has over 34M hits on Ytube.

Some people (and corporations) ( In the US, corporations are people too, but maybe not in Canada)(I don't know) have too much time on their hands.

Its a quiet 'n cold winter Sunday night in February, and I think we should maybe take this moment to reconsider what camping and spending time in the great outdoors really means to us.

My wife, a Colorado native, has survived the dismantling of the Denver Donkeys. Last time it was this bad the NY Giants destroyed them 39-20 in 1987. She couldn't watch the Donkeys for a few years as part of her recovery.

But I don't care. Football is slow and brutal and it bores me. In fact as I've matured, or maybe I'm in my 2nd or 3rd childhood, professional sports seem tedious, full of narcissists and I'd rather watch the grass grow. It takes a lot of concentration to watch grass grow, so I think I'll watch the Rocky Mountains erode. I only have to check in every 10,000 years to keep track of that.

We're more than one month into legal recreational marijuana in Colorado and the world has not collapsed. There's a small chance New Mexico may vote on it this year. This is the way alcohol prohibition fell apart—states stopped enforcing it, there was widespread flouting of the law and the public realized prohibition of things that make people feel better never works. Come to Colorado to see the mountains and then come back later because you forgot you came the first time.
