Hi, Ken; I think you are right so I never went to any of those classes. By the way, was your wife in the room when you typed that last sentence?

Howdy Ken, I'm most happy with my little bitty ones, no K cups for me...I'll take payment in the geriatric condoms please ;-)
Oh Good Lord where did we take this poor thread ☺

Hi, being as though we just sold our first house I have some opinions. Clean it up, remove all clutter, and fix the obvious. The inspectors will let you know what else you need to fix. Our paint was still good, but several years old; We repainted everything the last time we tried to sell our house, then the market crashed. Why paint or replace the carpets when the new owner might not like you choices of color or materials. But if the carpet is worn out and the paint is horrible, you need to fix it. Remember you want your house to look nice, but the new owners will want to make it suit them.

Realtors call preparing a house "staging". There are even companies that stage an empty house for a price. You want a buyer to imagine what they will do, not see so much what you did. Reduce the amount of furniture and eliminate clutter—even renting a storage unit to do so. If it needs paint, paint bland. Keep the yard nice. Finally empty the garage and use it for cars.

Another Kind of "K" Cup!
You guys just gave me another idea, i.e. what I can do with the FaN's broken window.

Better yet, if you really want to meet women, Dave, do the condom out the window thing with the MoHo. And don't forget to put a sign on the back reading, "It's like my shoes. I have to stretch 'em out a bit before wearing."

In all seriousness, join a writing group. They are loaded with women. You obviously have a flare for the written word. It is the ultimate form of expression, and can be therapeutic. You will not be judged or ridiculed. Women adore men who are not shy about delving into what I call "the angst of the human condition."

I am not a realtor, but I might use the same "STAGING" term when analysing the opposite sex that I meet these days.
I guess it is an attempt on their part to raise my IMAGINATION, on how I can rearrange the "furniture", to better suit my needs.
And yes Gene, if there isn't to much clutter with it, the technique does seem to work!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to lighten up the day for the moderators, here is a short video that you will have to, at least grin while watching.
I am finding that I am starting to make these kinds of mistakes more often now that the years go by.
Always ask yourself, no matter where, or what you are doing:
"WHAT CAN GO WRONG HERE??????????"

Can you tell my life is a bit slow?
Saw this while surfing the local adds.
Just what every RVer needs. Especially after the handle brakes off and you have to change the valve.

Wow, that's cool. It even has a white indicator lining. When it turns brown, you know its time to wash it (and you).

Hi, that was one of our problems; To unclutter the house, things went into the garage. [the garage was packed full] Then people wanted to see inside of the garage. [My gosh people, it's just a garage, not a museum]

Down here, the Sun is not only out, it is extinguished, and this weird white crap is falling from the sky. It think it is the ash from the sun's burn out.

I think Ken may be living in Washington state by now and far from the snow coming to the Front Range this weekend.
