Another 'Vehicle' with Owner Loyalty Comparable to Airstream?

I have been taking note of something of a phenomena over the past two or three years. It seems like I am seeing more AirForum members purchasing Volkswagen New Beetles either for their around-town tranportation or as tag-alongs for their Motorhomes. It could be that I am just a recent addition to the ranks of New Beetle ownership through my purchase of a left-over 2007 New Beetle Convertible demonstrator (924 miles) -- Gecko Green with tan leather upholstery and top. I have owned my New Beetle since November 2007 and am nearly as attached to it as my Airstreams.

One of my neighbors can't wait for me to stage a pricture of the New Beetle in front of the Overlander as if it were trying to tow the trailer!

Sold On VW's

Overlander,
I don't know about beetles, but I am sold on my Jetta TDI. I got it when I had to start commuting 100 miles round trip to and from work and it gets 50 MPG. Now if the price of diesel would come down ($4.25 in SE PA.) it would be afordable too .

Even if Diesel is more, I am glad I went that way with the TV. I am not hooked on the VW but I am hooked on its german cousin. The Mini. ( by BMW, right?) What I am really looking forward to is a Diesel Mini Cooper, supposed to get up near 45 to 50. If anybody has any info on it, I would like to see it. That is a good idea, get a picture of it towing the 28 foot Intl...
