Annoying Habits

"Annoying" seems to be the active word this week. Shows that it is now into the slow season for camping, so I will start a thread dealing with "ANNOYING HABITS" . These could be of others or yourself, that might not be appreciated by others close by, and probably would be better dropped.

One thing I have to remind myself to not do is - 'hold that valve cap with my lips while checking tire pressures'.

Playing my banjo in RV parks?

No .... seriously .... people who walk through my campsite to take a short cut, and don't even have the courtesy to smile and say hello while doing it! Seems doubly impolite!

Brian.

leaf blowers on Saturdays mornings in state parks where leaves are the "natural" - stay home if you want to do yard work!

People who start their vehicle to move it around their campsite every 1/2 hour

Drivers who leave their car at the gas pump while they go inside to have lunch

The guy who started his Generator at 3:30am Monday morning at NewHampshire Motor Speedway

The guy at the Airstream Salesman at the trailer show who told me Airstream's don't have bunkbeds because they're not for people with children"

And Anyone wearing a Snuggie

People who drive slow if the fast lane. Here in NJ the Pa drivers that commute to NJ are the major offenders. If your not passing a vehicle in the right lane, don't block the left lane! I see it all the time left lane hogs pacing cars in the right lane---for miles--traffic behind them waiting to get by---never considering to speed up or get over. Sorry about the rant, hit a vien here. MPJ

Malicious gossip, the snide/whispery/vicious stuff that very small minded people so enjoy indulging in.

People who consume freely at potlucks but don't bring anything to share----minus a legitimate reason such as illness, a broken limb, heart attack, trailer breakdown, etc.

I've got a problem.

I'm not going to tell you what my trailer is.

I'm not going to tell you the brand or model of the specific item.

I'm not going to post a photo.

I am going to post the same thing multiple times.

Five minutes later:

No one has solved my problem. This forum s__ks!

Gas Pump, how about the people that stop at the first gas pump instead of driving ahead to the last pump to fill up.

How about people that speed up when you try to pass them, then slow back down after you give up?

Guy at airstream dealership doesn't know his cliental. Can't wait to introduce my 8 month old to camping and the great American outdoors, in our 1965 safari!! Best memories of my childhood are camping and traveling across country with my parents in a trailer without bunk beds

Here is mine. When someone who was a friend at one time, stops by and before you can respond to " hey how are ya doing", They go into every single problem that they have had since the last time you saw them when they did the exact same thing that they are doing now.
I can be a good listener, but after ten minutes or more, am not apposed to shouting out SHUT UP. Did you come over just to make me as miserable as you are? All the while knowing that such person would not give me five seconds of returning the misery, before they recaptured the conversation only to launch into more woe is me torture.
It makes me want to hide behind the curtains until I am 100% sure that they are long gone. Hoping that they don't stop by again until, well, forever. I know such a person and every time I see them I feel like a flattened tire when they leave.

People that drive gas powered vehicles that pass 6 gas-only pumps to use the one gas and diesel pump. I wish they would either make them all combo pumps or let the diesel pump be diesel only.

When Lowes , Walmart, etc. have 10-30 registers and only two cashiers.

Then when you've been waiting in line for 15 minutes they open up another lane and the people at the end of the line take off running to beat you to it.
