Something cool happened today! The Olympic torch came right by my work on it's way to one of the local festivities. The Olympics start here on Friday, so it's getting pretty exciting. So we shut down for 1/2 hour or so when it came by. I got some pix and thought I'd share with you guys.

Tuesday morning it goes through White Rock at 6:30 AM. My wife will be out watching. I'll show her these pics so she has an idea of what to expect. Yep, this is pretty exciting stuff for little old BC to handle. As everyone can see from your pictures it was another typical winters day on the coast. It will be funny with the Olympic torch going through White Rock with many of the Cherry trees already in blossom .
Thanks for posting the pictures.

The torch comes right by our house tomorrow! We live in the tiny community of Deep Cove at the eastern end of North Vancouver. I will be out to take pictures in front of the house. Just wish the Airstream was home.

You have a whole day to get it there.......

It will be coming up Lonsdale, a block from my house, tomorrow. I'm not sure what time, I'll have to find out.

According to my wife the streets were lined with people in White Rock this morning to watch the torch go past. Given it was there at 6:30 AM and still dark and the temperature was just slightly above 34F that was an excellent turn out.
