Brian,
If you have not logged into Ancestry for the last 2-3 months, there has been a recent update in the predictions. When you log in click on the pie chart, it now gives the option to update. (at least it did for me)

I've done Ancestry and 23andMe DNA tests. They pretty much jived with my genealogical research of over 3,000 direct ancestors. Mostly UK, France and Germany. So no surprises. I have traced all branches of my family back that have verifiable records and have yet to find a branch that emigrated to America after 1739. I do tie into Welsh royalty way far back to the 13th Century and earlier where historical records were well maintained and tied to the English Plantagenet Kings. Welsh by law also maintained genealogical records down to the common man and one ancestor, Robert Vaughan (9th GGrandfather), the famed Antiquarian was the keeper of Welsh genealogy. My progenitor surname goes back to 1555 with my 9th Great Grandfather in Surrey, England.

Ancestry.com had widened their database recently and there were some changes but the changes honed in with what I knew.
