Almost back!

Well some may have noticed we've been pretty quiet lately and the regular updates on our latest project stopped about 7 weeks ago. Another week and we should be back to working on 8671. We're just finishing a project I've been promising to do for a long time, a 14x28' pool in the back yard. A backyard that cannot be accessed by any power equipment, in fact the gate is barely big enough to get a wheelbarrow through, and no reasonable access through the neighbors either. 140 yards of dirt hand dug, wheelbarrowed out and trucked off, 20 yards of crushed rock for drainage trucked in, and a lot of concrete coming in all by hand. First photo is the back yard March 28 after we started removing sod for the pool, other photo is yesterday afternoon. This week final electrical inspection, and pouring patio. Then just some sod and I can get back to the interior work.

The other good thing besides having a pool, is that the power had to be upgraded and I now have a 50 amp panel for the garage and a 30 amp RV plug right next to the airstream parking spot.

Wow! You built a bathtub for your Airstream! You must really like your trailer a lot.

Pools are great, but I'm glad you didn't lose sight of the really important thing.

Wow! That's awesome... but I wonder, what will you tow it with... looks kinda hard to pull out of the dirt it's in...

Seriously, that's some great work! I know I'd be soaking in it after all the work you went through. Just in time for summer!
Can't wait to read more about your progress -
Marc

Your pool is beautiful, but Inland Andy would say it needs new axels before you give it much use.
