Airstreamin on hold for now

after 15 years and 4 airstreams, my favorite camping season is on hold.
Aug 28 i sufferref aM series of TIA strokes. i have been hospitalized
or in rehab since. Made some progrss and will go home in 12 days.
thankful for that but frustrated as heck too. im the midst of replacing my converter and other stuff that will have to wait...
could have been way worse, so I am lucky for that, but the lifestyle change this will bring is not welcoming ...still wrestling with not being able to play guitar too. a huge part of my life.

Not a doc but TIAs usually pass. Follow the docs advice. Every new year is a new adventure with new aches and pains. My best therapy has been my dogs. They won't let me sit around and become a vegetable. Would that make me a vegetarian? Best Wishes.

Am sorry to hear about your health challenges. Yes, life can change drastically in a blink of an eye. But having a positive attitude is helpful and it appears as though you have that base covered!

Wishing you the best!

Have had several friends in the last few months have sudden life changing medical events. Your positive attitude will make all the difference to getting back on your feet. These friends are making new choices on what is important now versus before the event. Best wishes for your recovery.

Alands, wishing you a speedy recovery. If I could offer some free medical advice, limit computer time also TV time to the bare minimum for a few weeks. Quite is what your brain needs, even though we often have the tv on as company or just background noise, it is noise your brain just should not have.
A majority of TIA patients will make a full recovery but it takes time and it's something you just can't rush. Stay as active as you feel you can without getting tired or frustrated. Each person is different and only you know your body so listen to what your body is telling you.
Again, speedy and full recovery.

Alan,

Hang in there and stay positive. Many thoughts and prayers with you at the center. Will give you a shout tomorrow if you're taking calls.

Take care (and you will be playing guitar again)
