Airstream Terminology?

As I read through all the posts, whilst suffering from excessive aluminum intake, I started jotting down some of the terminology we use and thought there might be some humor in all of it. Maybe not. You decide. Feel free to add to the list. These are just some that I came up with.

Steel Wheels--- For those of us old enough, a tour by the Rolling Stones.
Alloy McBeall--- A TV show about an attorney traveling the country in her Airstream, and never stopping to eat.
Electric Jack--- Nicholson frenzied in The Shining.
The Shining--- What most of us want to do with our Airstreams.
Globe Trotter--- A member of the infamous basketball troup, originating in Harlem New York.
Separation Anxiety--- The fear that your Airstream has or will develop rear end sag.
Rear End Sag--- Generally afflicts Airstream owners born before 1979. (Certain Models)
Potable Water--- Water you can take with you.
Spare Tire--- Easily obtained by too many toasted marshmallows and beer at the camp site.
Jealousy Windows--- What all of us without the optional overhead skylight windows have.
Fantastic Fans--- What all of us are regarding Airstreams and this forum.
Tag Axle--- A childhood game played by members of Guns and Roses.
Pink Flamingos--- What Airstreamers see when they drink too much.
Black water--- An old song by the Doobie Brothers.
Grey water---- The wrong lyric to the Doobie Brothers song, as I sing it.
Rear bath------ A special way of cleaning a certain portion of your anatomy.
Zip Dee--- The enthusiasm Airstreamers have when speaking about their trailers.
Tow Capacity--- Generally five per foot, or however many will fit in your shoe.
Breakaway Cable---what happens when we forget to unhook our TV’s from the camp site
Break magnet--- Since I became a vintage AS owner, I have become a break magnet. I used to be a chick magnet. Now everything breaks.
Clear coat--- What a flasher uses instead of a rain coat.
Clear coat removal--- What’s the point?
Vulkem--- What you say about anyone that doesn’t like Airstreams.
Propane--- A professional pain in the a--.
Buffer--- The space easily achieved between you and your parents/children/job, by getting in your Airstream and taking off!
Rock Guard--- An old bouncer for the Rolling Stones.
Weatherstripping--- Clothing optional campgrounds in the south
McCauley Caulking--- Home Alone star working on an Airstream.
Sway Control--- Knowing when to say when.
A/C Shroud—A religious artifact, especially on vintage trailers.

An excellent compendium of Airstream terminology. I'm thinking if I throw some of these terms at the dealer, I'll get a better price on the unit I'm interested in. He'll think I'm too much of an Airstream pro to fool. Sneakinup might just save me some money!

This is a good time to ask (and this is certainly asking for it): what is an SOB?

Goucho-- The forgotten Marx Brother
Reese Sway Control--cutting back on our favorite peanut butter snack (see rear end sag above)

Also, SOB is what most SOB owners do after only a few years of having their SOB's, when they realize they should have bought an Airstream. This may be why a few SOB owners seem to become S.O.B.'s...

LOL has meant 'Laughing out loud' from past internet use. I've figured out it means 'Lots of luck' on this forum. Y'all could qualify for "Minnesota Nice" (a tendency to steer conversations to avoid confrontation).

Tongue weight - Heh heh. I'm not going there in a public forum. Too easy.

exhaust fan - what you need to disperse the bean byproducts discussed earlier.

shore power - Viagra (for you non-southerners, that's as in "I'm shore it's gonna work tonight.")

female connector - reason for Viagra

male connector - see above

pullout Gaucho - what teenage boys do in the Airstream while mom and dad are walking the dogs.
