Airstream scale model

Good day, friends.
Like to share a scale model i just completed.
This is a scratchbuilt model, scale 1/24, of an Airstream camper trailer towed by a Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
The trailer isn't a reproduction of a specific model, so please do not claim that the number or the position of the windows is not correct. I didn't enter into the intricacies of various models, i was just trying to catch the 'spirit' of these fascinating trailers.
Like to emphasize that this is not a commercial kit assembled by myself: everything is built from scratch, namely plasticard and forex sheets (expanded PVC). As such, you will find a lot of flaws and defects: sorry, this was the best i could do.
If someone is interested to know more, the construction steps are available as a slideshow on my youtube channel: 2012carlo
The text is in italian, anyhow believe the pictures are self-explanatory.

Best regards

Carlo

Thanks to all of you.
JMYLES, you are right, actually the hitch is too high.
May i pretend that the car is equipped with air sospensions and the driver forgot to release some pressure? 😉😉

Well done!

So, you made the Jeep, too?

Most impressive.

Wherestream, yes, both models are my creatures. At the beginning i was planning to build also a Willys Wagon and a Jeep Cherokee XJ, because their rather boxy shapes are well suitable for building. Now, to tell the truth, i found that the GW and AS have been a very complicated and tiring build, so for time being the other models have been put aside.

Great job. I was particularly impressed with the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We had two of them over the years, the last one being a '91 "Final Edition" Limited. Boy, how I wish we still had that classic. There's a guy in Texas who gets upwards of $75,000-$85,000 for refurbished Wagoneers.
