As of two months ago it was still parked in the service bay at Jackson Center. I'm not sure I have the story 100% accurate, but I believe it was built by Jesse James as a trade for two Airstreams. It's a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I wish Airsteam could haul it over to the International in Illinois next summer so anyone could get a closer look at it. If they can't find a trailer, I'd be willing to ride it over for them.

It is still in Jackson Center, in the service area. I was there this past Tuesday and overheard one of the ladies at the front desk saying that it was built by Jesse James when he was still married to Sandra Bullock as a thank you for their custom International.

love it.....Jesse is an artist.

His social life needs a little work, but, what a gear head!

Ya think? I dunno, when we saw that at JC, I thought to myself that it looked a bit plain, simple.

Maybe he was going for that, since an Airstream has a simple look too. But if that was the case, I would expect more chrome and less red pain...

Just one man's opinion

Totally with ya. I'm all for tributes, and some of James' stuff is pretty rad. But this one didn't show much effort or creativity at all, in my opinion. Using some authentic parts -- maybe a taillight turned on end, or a door handle repurposed as the gas tank filler -- could've really made it connect with the trailer. Perhaps painting the frame in Por-15 instead of red powdercoat might even have looked good.

A bunch of rivets do not an Airstream motorcycle make.

Mind you, when I saw it, there was a rag on the floor underneath it, hiding a leak. Mebbe it IS an AS after all... :: rubbing chin::

Hi, I see nothing Airstream about this, what ever you want to call it. The side car looks more like one of the Bumper Cars at the original Long Beach Pike. [Long Beach, California]
