Airstream Model by Pottery Barn

I was just notified by an office worker that Pottery Barn has a model Airstream available as a Christmas Gift. It lists for $49, plus shipping and delivery. Very cute. Go to:

Angry Bummer!

It won't display the page! I tried looking for it among the shopping pages on the PotteryBarn site, but no luck. Can you post a picture of it? Was it an ornament? Statue?

I was trying to order an airstream suncatcher once, but it was out of stock. Every time I checked back it wasn't availble either. Oh well....

Check out the site http://www.potterybarn.com, in the search box type airstream and it will come up. BTW it is 12" x 4.5" Flying Cloud replica.

Here's the description from Pottery Barn's website:
Quote:
AIRSTREAM TRAILER

Close collaboration with Airstream engineers helped us create a nostalgic desktop replica of their signature “Flying Cloud.” Ours includes painted signals and rubber tires that really roll. Made of cast metal. 12.5 x 4.5 x 4" h.
Below is the picture from the website.

It's $49.00

Here's another try at the link

I've seen one...it's not a "Franklin Mint" reproduction, but it's pretty nice for a mass produced model - IMHO.

Cherie ~

If you like this one, you may want to check out some of the others I've found. I placed links to them in another thread:

"Airstream "Gift Ideas

Enjoy!

I've got one!

A month ago I was on this forum with questions about the Bambi and the International AS, thinking that my wife and I were close to a possible trailer purchase. In the meantime I found the Airstream trailer at Pottery Barn, ordered it for myself, only to find out that my daughter was planning to give it to me as a Christmas present! Well, she still is, and I am looking forward to opening that gift under the tree even though, out of nowhere, my wife and I purchased a Class B Pleasure-Way the day after Thanksgiving. A part of me will always be an Airstream-Want-To-Be, and once my trailer is on my desk, who knows??? It is solidly built, heavy for its size, and should make an instant hit with any of you vintage Airstreamers out there. Happy Holidays!
