Airstream Miracle

I just returned from Atlanta to find my neighborhood in a mass dissaray from the Tropical storm. Our house driveway is blocked by the telephone pole and power lines so bad that we cannot get out.

My neighbors house is creamed with about four HUGE oak trees in it.

But both Airstreams in my yard including the new Bambi, UNSCATHED!

Talk about miracles.

I will post photos soon, It looks as though we will be without power for about a week.

We will be living in the MH until thing get better.

Miracle, indeed! I hope your house made out better than the neighbors.

On the good side doing without electric power for a few days or even weeks is much better than waiting for your house to be able to be lived in again. You're very fortunate indeed.

That little Bambi looks like a wonderful, tiny oasis in a very unhospitable place.

Maybe if you're staying in the MH, and you feel close with your neighbors, you could offer them the Bambi for a night or two!

I have offered it to the neighbors they declined, I also offered to my inlaws.
It looks as though the power company is doing above the call of duty. They initailly told us three to five days for power. It looks as though it may be a little sooner than that.
I heard a squeeling noise last night and I though to my self,"I hope that is not my generator" (on my LY MH). But it was the power company drilling new holes and setting new telephone poles. All I can say is the good lord was looking out for us.
