Airstream Mini
A friend sent this photo to me and asked if I knew or had heard anything about it.
Does anyone have any info on this little guy?

This one I posted doesn't look like the one on the GSM site.
Did they do two concept vehicles?
This is the one on the GSM site. Is this as built or is it a photo shop creation?

The GSM micro is a thirteen panel... the one Tom posted is not. Are there two GSM micro trailers?

Cool Trailer. I could think of some good tow vehicles for it. Like a Mini pulling a Mini!

Mine too but back in 1972. It was a 1,000cc. Trailer tires fit great on the extra wide alloy wheels. Not enough power to tow with though.

So the guy that took the photo (Post #1) said it was sitting outside, near the cars at an Avanti car show on saturday in Wilimington, DE.
Here's another shot.

Hey! My trailer, spotted. That was in the parking lot of the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art where I was doing an art project with kids from a boys and girls club... it's funny to see it here. We use it for Tiny Circus (tinycircus.org), it's outfitted for sound and projecting and for one or two to sleep in...

Carlos, I just read your post from 2005. You are the man. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f321...ari-15592.html. WOW is not enough. I have been in the forums doing home work for a 1964 safari project. I love how your thread starts, "pretty soon the shell was on blocks and I am welding on the frame. It all just happened so fast..." . Ours started with, "what is that funny smell". Mine is not on blocks yet. Hopefully I can get Uwe to help with the project.
Are you doing any new airstream projects? Have not seen any resent pics.

not an Airstream, but if you like unique small trailers
Tin Can Classifieds - 2009 Custom built Woodie teardrop trailer - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds
OMG. I must never never never go to the Tin Can Tourist website again.
I'm thinking that since I fulltime, I need a tiny trailer for weekending.
no no no no no

Paula,
Take the plunge, teardrops play very well with Airstreams are great to camp in also. People think a Bambi is small until I show up with this. It's is polished now but wrapped up for the winter.
