Airstream Life $16/yr

Airstream Life has now gone "mainstream." You can now get a one year subscription for $16/year through Amazon.com.

It's a great deal too at that price IMHO.....I signed up for 2 years (though not through Amazon).

I had also signed up for the 2 year deal and received my first issue a few weeks ago.No regrets and well worth the price imo.

Yes, Yukionna, we're trying to go mainstream. We've actually been on Amazon and other websites such as Magazine Express for nearly two years, but only since January at the new rate of $16 per year.

Note that Amazon and other online outlets charge the same rate we charge on our website, so I would suggest that anyone who wants to subscribe just use our form for simplicity.

We're hoping the new lower price increases circulation. More circulation would allow us to make a better magazine.

We've also hired a Circulation Director who will be working hard to get the magazine into mainstream book stores such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Books-a-Million. Right now the only way to get single copies is to visit an Airstream deal who advertises in the magazine, or through our webstore.

FYI, the single-copy price in bookstores will probably be $4.99, versus $4.00 per copy to subscribers. The back issues will remain $8.00 per copy.

There's an explanation of the new pricing to subscribers on page 11 of the new Spring 2007 issue, and also here.

PS: Thanks for the nice comments, guys!

When out?

When will the issues be out? I remember reading something about the dates being changed, but don't remember to when.

It is a great magazine, isn't it? Looking forward to the next one!

Pat

Publication schedule

The Spring 2007 issue is in the mail right now.

From our website FAQ at Airstream Life FAQs :

When is Airstream Life published?
Issues are published and mailed quarterly. Starting in 2007, this is February, May, August, and November.

Where's my copy? Everyone else has theirs already!
Periodicals like Airstream Life get handled differently by the post office than First Class mail. It will take up to three weeks for your issue to arrive, from the day it is mailed. For some reason, people in California get the slowest service. We don't have any control over this, unfortunately.

Great publication at the old price; even greater at the new price.

Is it too late to purchase a Feb. copy of the magazine?
$16 is a very reasonable rate for a subscription. I think I'll check out the website as well. Thank you!

Allow me to answer for Rich since he's a bit backed up right now. If you subscribe now, the first issue you will receive will be the Spring (February) issue.
Note also that by ordering through the ASL web site, you have the option of ordering a 2-year subscription for just $30 (a $2 savings).
Enjoy!

Roger
