Airstream in Seligman, AZ

On the old Route 66, as you enter from Flagstaff, I saw this old Airstream. I know nothing about it, but there it is gathering weather.

Nice find. The body looks to be in good condition, but I can only imagine what it looks like inside. It appears to be a 64 Overlander.

Something appears to be trying to escape from the window left of the door.

We saw that Airstream as well when we pulled into Seligman. My wife frowns at me investigating much more than a driveby...

This picture was taken about a block from that trailer. Its gets plenty of exposure..

Thumbs up 66

Further down the road...outside Barstow.

Anyone know if General Bob is still at the Bagdad Cafe?

If you met him there you'd remember.

I Ordered a Plate of Lousy Food

What else can you do.

Eat at this resturant or go to the next one just down the block.

The next Airstreamer through Seligman might stop in the barber shop / gift store and ask Angel Delgadillo what he knows about that Airstream. Angel is the head of the Route 66 Association in AZ.

If you ask real nice you may get a hair cut as well.

Angel's brother Juan opened the Snow Cap Drive-in next door in 1953. After he retired from the railroad, he worked at the Snow Cap every day until he died in June 2004. He was a fun guy.

Referring back to post #1, above: Owner's name is Frank (frank@fossilcreekcoffee.com). He owns a coffee shop in town, something about the "Buzz." You missed the 60's Airstream in his back yard. He has a website that touts the many small towns of Arizona and their attractions.

You missed this in his back yard, taken back in Sept 2006. He lives right on the main drag.
