Way to go!

Wow Ken,
What a fabulous building! Almost looks like a big screen TV and a lazy boy recliner might be needed for break times. Polishing is too long a task to do straight through.

You might not want to rush through the polishing anyway. Once its done, what excuse will you have to get out of the house

Yes, we have heating and air conditioning.
I began preparations today for detailed restoration and polishing.
It was very pleasant to watch the storm move in over the mountains while I continued to putter away.
Best Regards,

Tool Bay?

Keep those tools warm!!! I can see an extended stop-over at the Haven on my way to the PacNW this summer . I'll bring a 50cal machine gun and several 2lb. cannisters of 15% capsicum (Mace) to maintain order .

And speaking of orders.......make mine a BLT on rye toast, side of fries and a large iced tea.

You'll have 30 amp power, water, and sewer and maybe a picnic table. Plan on staying long enough to see the sights this time. Last year you were more of an indentured servant than tourist.

Ken,

You look pretty healthy. Is there a weight room and exercise circuit in one corner of the Haven?

As a Matter of Fact...

I have the perfect spot right where the photographer was standing. A nice bright, sunny 10' by 15' area. Hmmm.

As for my fit appearance, I was fifty pounds heavier and had a full head of wavy blonde hair when I started this project.

STOP STOP STOP - I can't take it anymore......

One more picture of that cool garage and I'm going outside to dig the foundation with a spoon if I have to.

I think I would just sell the house and full time inside the Airstream inside the garage.

Ughhhhhhh - I can feel the aluminum dagger being twisted in my heart, killing me slowly with bauxite - what a way to go. Just bury me in my Caravel.

Michelle - I have your card - and Tina and I are planning a trip up north this summer or early fall. Build it and they will come..... Put some hookups on the outside, you would not believe the friends you will have show up at your doorstep........

Reservations for winter 2008, early spring 09. I will not be there when most people want to come visit. Hence No CP during the summer until I retire. That should be in about 10 years.

Airstream Haven; A Gathering of Airstreams

Airstream Haven was crammed with Airstreams this week. "Lewster" aka Famous Lewster, arrived from Florida on his way to Hood River, OR. He availed himself of the courtesy parking for Charter Members of the Four Corners Unit and used the haven as rendezvous for "KenJ" and "Blu Hwy Lady" who had maintenance and installation chores for him.
