For many of my issues and my wife as well we use a local Chiropractor-he does not do the head snapping adjustments. Gives relief and has helped with the back and knee, the knee is directly related to the herniated discs in the back as the nerves run down the legs, at least that is what he says, our PCP says and the pictures I've been shown.

We also use the Chiro for our "little" black Lab. She sprained her front left elbow joint and two to three visits she is back to her old self. Light adjustments by him and she feels better the next day. He is a human Chiro, cannot in our state charge to do animals, so he does it for free. Great guy. I never believed in Chiro, until I broke my back and herniated two discs, he has helped a lot and refuses to even discuss surgery which our PCP of 35 years totally agrees with.

Hi Bud. I'm glad your "chiro" provides some relief for you. I know there are some reliable ones out there. As for me, during my many decades of my nursing career, I saw so many lives changed for the worse...by some of the bad ones. I would not be willing to chance it.

I have always vetted any doctor or anesthesiologist before I see them. My MD/PCP is very cautious about my care, as am I...and I appreciate that. I do have two herniated discs in my lower back from an auto accident....not at all related to the knee. The discs, if extruded will radiate pain down the leg...through the nerves....a neurological issue. The knee problem is an orthopedic joint issue. The two are unrelated.

I have had problems with the back and am very careful with any lifting and manipulation, as when that sucker acts up, and the pain radiates down the back of my leg, sometimes down the foot as well, it can also affect the strength and ability to walk in a stable fashion. Not fun at all. My knee has calmed down and is functioning normally , thank God.

Be well. Evelyn.

Edward, welcome to the forums. I see you have a 2016 AI and an FC. Do you still have the AI? If so, do you tow the FC with the AI? Just curious. I traded a 16' Bambi in on my AI GT and really enjoy the conveniences.

Gerard, so good to hear from you. According to the movement of the jet stream, it looks like you folks may get more snow this season. Stay warm and safe.

Just had a call from dealer service rep re: warranty issues on Goliath. Actual pickup now moved to Nov. 28th. This is actually better, as the previous date would interfere with my birthday. They are really going over everything in depth. So, as long as everything is fixed and runs well, I'm O.K. with the delay. I will put it in storage. Main thing...is, I want it ready to go when travel season comes!

I had planned on one last hurrah. Steelhead fishing next week staying in the trailer in a park right on the river. Snow and rain today blowing snow tomorrow and squalls on Monday meant a change of plans and the twinkie is now in storage at my brother's farm. I should have seen it coming as the Bufflehead ducks are already passing through about 3 weeks earlier than usual. They are one of the last ducks to head south before winter sets in.
