Not sure if the AirForums Mobile App has the same emoji options? What is your set up on the iPad, Evelyn? Are you using the Full Site or the Mobile App?

Full site. On Air Forums, I am limited to one imoge only. There is no option for more. The ones I used above are on my keyboard. I am unable to find the ones that are of characters or that move. I have known of the ones on my keypad for a while...very small , and not really much variety, IMO. I looked for the motion emoges...can't find them.

When I see you this summer, Evelyn, I will show you.

I don't know if you not being a member here affects those...I know it does how many pictures you can post.

Does one need to be a member? If so, is there a fee and what are the benefits?

It will be helpful if someone can review the emoji process with you in person IMO. After a point, all the words can confuse . . . and clutter up your thread.

You might want to peruse the FAQ regarding Smilies (they call them):

http://www.airforums.com/forums/faq....aq_vb3_smilies

Also, here are the emoji's available -- first time I have seen them on a page here!

http://www.airforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=showsmilies

Don't forget what I said earlier, you can always type in the correct designation for each emoji (as shown on the page above).

For instance, this:

: wally :

becomes -- after you take away the spaces:

You could also start a new topic in the forum help sub-forum:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138/

I had trouble posting photos a while ago, and the moderators were very helpful in tweaking the site and enabling my photo posting.

Good luck!

Peter

I visited "Goliath" yesterday. Talked with the owner while there. He is going to call me when the first space for electrical hookup comes open. More money for rent, but, allows a trickle charge to keep my batteries topped off. There are a few Airstream trailers on location there, but no Interstates. "Goliath" is the star in this category. Dan said he's had many nice comments about him. Solar panel is doing a good job keeping level up...12.75watts. Winter will be a different story, I'm sure.

I took a lot of supplies over and packed them away. Will do same till he is well stocked. Then when I'm ready to take off, a bag of fresh food for the fridge and a bag of clothes...and I'm ready to hit the road. Getting antsy now! 2 weeks till Colorado Greenhorn boondocking!

Only pics I've taken were when window was damaged, and they posted upside down. No luck trying to right them.

Went to DMV yesterday to register "Goliath". Drew the DMV agent from hell! Rude, bitchy, with a major power trip! She sent me back to the dealer to get the form (vin verification) "done right"! After I returned, she scowled, you still didn't get it done right! He wrote it out. There should be a code, "MT"! I said, you did not tell me that. She just glared at me!
Now, she tells me to "go get my RV, and someone here will do it right...and I'll have to pay for it. Tells me to park "up on the hill in the back, and it's about 3/4 mile away, and I'll need to walk it down here, wait for someone to have time, walk back, and then walk back again." She looks at my cane and says, with a smirk..."if you can"!

OKAY! Now I've reached my limit! I got up, went to the lady next door, and said, can you please help me!? She had heard everything, and said "Gladly!" She said, "just park your RV at the end of the building...there's plenty room there. I'll watch for you and come do the vin." Once that was done, she apologized to me for the behavior of the witch, and assured me she will talk to the supervisor about her.

Cost to register my AI...$3,388.00! 6 1/2 hours after I arrived at DMV, I am finally done, and suffering from "sticker shock"! What a day! So, I go home ....pour a glass of wine...and all is in the past, and trips are in my future!

What turkeys! Good for you for asking for someone else.

Yep, travel time is a'coming, and you will soon meet Ray and Nancy.

You're going to have a great time.

Only one was a "turkey"...although I have a different name for her! The second lady was very nice..and that made it less unpleasant. Usually,I have no problem at the DMV. This is the first time I've ever had a problem there. I have always had a positive experience on each and every time I've been there.

I look forward to it, Maggie! Only 9 days away! Need to get "Goliath" over here to get more stuff packed in!

Suggest writing a formal letter of complaint. Crap attitudes like that don't need to be tolerated.

Thanks rm, it has been taken care of and is in the past now. These kind of jerks can be found anywhere. Best not to dwell on the idiots. Over and done.

I had to say goodbye to Max, my cat, today. He was 15+ years old,and had been declining in health over last month or more. Max was a one person cat and he was a good, loving cat. He will be missed. Tonight, I grieve his passing.

I'm not a cat person, but have mourned the passing of many of them. All individuals, all sorely missed. I grew up in a household well loaded with cats. Sorry for your loss.

Condolences for the loss of your cat. Cats are special personalities, and they burrow deeply into our hearts as we live with them.

Sorry for your loss of Max. Our last cat Sally loved hanging out in our old 25' AS when it was parked in the driveway. She was a feral rescue but warmed right up to some of us. With others she was still a wild child!

Dealing with "petty tyrants" like the DMV person strengthens us. Well done to find a decent route around this temporary obstruction in your path!

Have fun on the new adventure . . .

Peter
