Just make sure they know how to properly re-torque your oil filter - kidding of course.

Speedy recovery!

Get well quickly!

Get well soon!

Here is hoping you get well soon and are back on the road again in your Airstream! We are thinking good thoughts!

Be sure and liberate one of those "lovely" hospital gowns... I am sure you could find a useful purpose for it in your airstream! Polishing? Dusting? Tablecloth? When laying awake waiting for your sleepy time medicine, you can dream up wonderful ideas/uses for your gown....

Get well quickly!

Sorry I missed the original post

I hope you are already on the way to recovery. I've enjoyed your tales of Chummy and will eagerly await the next one.

Feel better soon and keep in touch.

I am home and most happy to see all the good wishes and prayers sent my way. Here's the news. I am Cancer Free! They took the 14" of colon along with the various other adjoining stuff to the pathologist and she or he declared me cancer free. I asked for the colon back thinking it would make good sausage casing for this Thanksgiving but here were several holes in it making it useless for that purpose. I feel like Braveheart when at the end of the movie they strapped him to a rock and he was disemboweled. There is this mental picture of my entire digestive system lying on the floor while the surgeon searches for that tiny spot where that cancer was. In comes housekeeping and starts to-- no I will not start another tale.
Today I must take a shower, the odor is so bad. There are seven inches of staples in my gut and I am afraid they will rust. Would you suggest WD-40 or a silicone spray before I shower to prevent them from rusting?
Once again, thanks for the prayers and well wishes. I hope to be at Pecatonica in September.
