I was wondering what a "package" store was. It's a liquor store here in Co. and west.

May you have at least one sunny day, and a soft chair to sit in..

Here they're called ABC stores. Alcohol Beverage Control... For real...

Actually the "Liquor & Guns" business is in Schulenburg, TX...not far from Shiner, TX.

They are called STATE STORES here. But I have heard the term package store or liquor store before. But never seen a drive thru and a gun store combine.LOL

Google "Ice house" and "Texas". It's more or less a drive thru beer store. Looks kinda like a barn with beer, big enough to drive yer pick up thru. In the 10 or so years we lived in Texas, was one of our favorites (along with the brisket place around the corner). Vintage Republic of Texas. I love that state. Best folks on the planet.

We found this in Maryland last year. We went inside---a diner counter in the front, guns and ammo in the rear.
