A/S as relationship dealbreaker?

Has this ever happened to anyone else on the forum? Talk about neighbors who want to keep their sterile neighborhoods free of Airstreams, I just got off the phone with my soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend & am so pissed off I can't see straight. Basically, he broke down & admitted that I can't temporarily park a perfectly good '64 Globetrotter (soon to be picked up from Chikagurl) in the very long driveway of a two-acre spread he stays at ON WEEKENDS.

WHY?

Because he says it'll look trashy & it wasn't his idea to buy 4 Airstreams.

Seriously, that's just trouble trouble trouble, isn't it? Help steel my resolve on this.

And then when I have calmed down I will open a new "singles" mini-forum to look for a guy who knows his ass from a Univolt. Grrrrrr grrrrrrrrr grrrrrrrrr.

Is there a difference between an ass and a Univolt?

Seems to me that he needs to build you a nice 4 bay pole barn or shed to house your adorable addictions. That way he won't be embarrassed and he can improve the property value at the same time. It can be sided with appropriately yuppified materials e.g. cedar siding, field stone... whatever, and when the place is sold it can be marketed as a stable, ginormous shop or even (heaven forbid) a decadent vehicle locker. He could plumb in a dump and 30 amp service.... just to make amends for pi$$ing you off.

Always the optimist, Janet! But I just got an email that sealed the deal as far as I am concerned and I quote: "... not letting you park some old piece of **** trailer at my house. I didn't buy the damn things, i counseled against their purchase ..."

For one thing, piece of **** should have been hyphenated since it modifies trailer.

I'll be down right after hurricane season, Sneak! Uh, you don't mind a p-o-s Bambi parked in your driveway for awhile, do ya?

And, Tin Sista, you're clairvoyant! His name actually IS Jack. Henceforth known as "That Man I Used to Date." Let's see, favorite comfort things ... hmm... Guinness/NIN/Airstreams on eBay/and hey it's chat night!

This could be worse than that night TinCanLuv got so drunk his partner had to type for him! Yeah, I know, I'm supposed to stay active, take a class, approach guys in the frozen-meat section of the supermarket with a friendly "Hi! How's that, uh, frozen, uh ..." But MY strategy will be to park the adorable Bambi by the side of roads across this nation & wait for cute, handy guys to stop by ... you know, like when you're hitchhiking & always put the cutest girl out there ...

On an entirely selfish note, being single, I welcome other singles out in their airstreams. Nothing like a campground full of campers to make you feel strange.......

Teresa, don't forget to put the hood up, so the guy can think he is rescuing a damsel in distress!

Teresa,

Wave bye bye to him, a man who say that about your airstreams does not need to be in your life.

Come to the Fort desota forum rally and we will furnish the mudslides to help you forget and Barry will be there and he can start the lessons.

Marie

photos please.
and a resume listing how many things you can fix.
also, whether you'll take me to japan for my birthday.
it's best if your politics are ANYWHERE to the left of chikagurl's. (who, despite his moniker, is NOT a hispanic lesbian, i'm sorry to say.)
