That UAV! Too cool, Tim. And a whole new sideline for ya. A technical question -- why or how did your UAV pics get into bitmap images?

Paula had me review the next newsletter and I can say that she has Casini pictures in there too.

Thanks for applying this creativeness to Airstreams and the Forums! Or should we credit Yoda .... ? (enlarge the 1st pic)

Just last night I was reading up on kite aerial photography. I just can't figure out how you rig the shutter so you can activate it from the ground. They have those single-use digital cameras which you can hack to be multiple use, that would be great to use, as you wouldn't be losing much if you broke them on landing.

DG,

I knew you were the king of flight, but you have surpased all of my expectations with the apparent addition of Yoda as your co-pilot. I can only imagine who you have chosen for the members of your ground crew. Great pics of Casini. Say hi to LL.

Most impressive! I've always been fascinated with taking photos while I was inside a plane but this brings photography to much different "heights"!

What are you using for a camera? I know some of the new digital cameras can be set-up to take photos at pre-set intervals. Using that feature would relieve you of having to man the shutter at least!

Good luck with it and I look forward to seeing more of your photography!

Tim, don't let them shoot you down yet!
I'm trying to figure out why the resolution isn't as good when we first viewed them at the rally.

Watch out for flack! Some of them there trailer people are hostile!
Seriously, cool pics, you could sell them at rallies, maybe pay for your campsite.

There you go! You can go under the cameras on the main street at Sturgis (or on the grand finale at roller coaster or flume rides) and pay to order a picture of yourself. Hopefully the teenagers at the next campsite are behaving themselves ....

Jeff -- There are several reasons for loss of resolution. Tim has evidently converted from bmp to jpg images. Size of images for uploading to the forums is somewhat restrictive. I think doorgunner.com/megabucks takes MasterCard...
