I spend the summer of '68, in Hermann, MO. Stayed in an ole Civil War Barrack turned into a really cool Inn, which was right next to the Mighty Mo..lol
Walked down to the river front many a times watching the river flow past.
There was a ole run down fishing gear/bait shack on the edge of the parking lot and, over the entrance door was mounted a huge skeleton mouth of a river catfish. It had an opening of at least 3 ft across.
Whenever I'm passing thru Mo, I will go outta of my way to revisit the town..
Lov the "Sonic" AND "A&W" drive-in there~! Not to forget either, Stone Hill Winery~
Now you know..
ciao

plus, my youngest son attend UM at Columbia,MO.

I think that is actually a picture of the state record catfish recently caught here in Texas. Don't remember the lake, but they kept it alive and it is now in an aquarium in Austin I think.

Everythings bigger in Texas! Fish, trailers, beer guts. . .

Ya know guys, you could head north and take a picture of a polar bear and a penguin frolicking along atop a glacier, and Texas will take credit for it....

I'M JUST KIDDING!!!!

New state record catfish in Texas. 140 lbs. caught in Lake Texoma. This is one of those legendary fish that scuba divers say they see at the bottom of dams that are big enough to eat a person

Ownership of the above photo has been claimed by angler Lucas van der Geest, who reports catching the 187-pound wels catfish near Po, Italy in 2003.
