A politically correct Christmas?
I don't mean to use these Airstream forums as a sounding post for the current political debate about use of the word "Christmas". I'd rather leave that issue to the politicians and lawmakers. I just thought this video by Larry the Cable Guy was too darned funny not to share with anyone who hasn't seen it.

Merry CHRISTMAS to all fellow Airstream fans.

Do you really need a better reason to click?
I think I'll just take a generic "Happy Holiday", to go...

Merry Christmas
I would like to add Merry Christmas from Nashville.
I'm to old to be politically correct, heck I'm to old to be potentially correct...ask my wife.

Would you believe I never heard of that movie until a friend introduced me to it a couple years ago? Now it's a Christmas-time tradition!

y'all are nuts. I guess that's why I feel so at home here. Nobody in his/her right mind would buy an old Airstream trailer that requires thousands of bucks to restore. Or would they?
Hey, if we can't poke fun at what we do then maybe we shouldn't be doing it. If we can't wish each other a Merry Christmas, then maybe that's wrong too.
Hell no, Merry Christmas fellow Airstream nuts. May all your floors be rotten and blight and may all your Christmases be bright.

Or for that fact tens of thousands of dollars.....oh, wait a minute, I did that
Hey, it's only money, and if you don't use it for something enjoyable, then what the heck is the point of having it, right?
I'll be in Boise with the kids from 18 Dec till 02 Jan, so if I don't post again till then, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Received a non-denominational winter holiday card last year that read:
"At this special time of year (not to diminish the importance of any other time of year important to other religious or non-religious groups) I hope each of you are able to spend quality time with your families, alternative households, or social or non-social groups. Take time to enjoy the company of and share retrospective observations of senior life partners, and the gift of anxiety of the chronologically advantaged but vertically challenged members of your social or non-social groups."
The greeting was followed by a disclaimer: "If this card displays any sexist, racist, pre-feminist, heterosexual, mono-culturalist, ethnocentric, religionist, non-secular humanist or eurocentric-bias, I profoundly apologize."
The card's envelope had a warning, "If you are easily offended or have tendencies to become indignant, judgemental or pious, do not open this card."
I believe every wish of good cheer was covered without offending anyone. Have a great non-denominational winter holiday one and all.

A steady stream of commercials with a few minutes of movie in between.

Well I just got back from a Christmas party where my friend relayed this story.....Micai was walking to school with a friend this week (it has been in the teens most mornings) when a 5th grader dared him to stick his tongue to a stop sign. Well he did it of course. When he finally made it to school he was covered in blood and was missing parts of his lip skin and taste buds on his tongue.
When he got home from school his mother asked "Didn't you ever watch A Christmas Story?" He said, no.

A trailer park Christmas
This is called a "Trailer Park Christmas". I couldn't help think of all of us as I heard it on the radio this afternoon. For any of you that are from the South, ever vacationed here, or even wandered off the interstate more than a few miles, you'll enjoy it. WARNING: there are a couple of things you won't want Santa and the Kiddies to hear, here.
