A or B
Here's a question:
Are you an 'A' personality or a 'B' personality, or a 'C' somewhere in-between? Especially when you're getting your Air for a trip?

Absolutely an "A". As I write this we are preparing to leave in Lucy. As usual, I am running around in circles while SuEllyn tries to rein me in.

I suspect that no one is 100% ‘A’ or ‘B’ and most would be “somewhere in-between,” and therefore the ‘C’ personality label would apply.
But before answering, some readers would appreciate knowing the definitions, characteristics, and traits of ‘A’ and ‘B’ personalities.

Definition and characteristics of A or B
Hi,
Ok, here's the definitions of Type A and Type B personalities:
Type A - a behavior pattern characterized by tenseness, impatience, and aggressiveness, often resulting in stress-related symptoms as insomnia and indigestion and posibly increasing the risk of heart disease
Frequently doing more than one thing at a time
Urging others to hurry up and finish what they are saying
Becoming very ittitated when traffic is blocked or when you are waiting in line
Gesturing a lot while talking
Having a hard time sitting with nothing to do
Speaking explosively and using obscenities often
Playing to win all the time, even in games with children
Becoming impatient when watching otheres carry out a task.
Type B -A behavior pattern characterized by a relaxed manner, patience, and friendliness that possibly decreases one's risk of heart disease.
Relaxed
Likelier than a Type A personality to be patient
Creative and imaginative
Inclined to Self-analysis

I am probably a B or maybe even a C. I was once an A wishing to be a B. But when I finally noticed my family suffering....well it took a while. Now that I have been retired a month....I don't really care what I am........Is this being too self analytical or indecisive? I got to go now and fix the AS marker light.

Well, before reading the definitions I would have said "B". After reading the definitions I would say 95% of the time "B". My wife would say I'm a "Z"--way too laid back and never in a big enough hurry.
By the way, she is 100% type "A" except once a month and then...God help us all!

I am B all the way. Laid back, relaxed, friendly, patient, creative, and way too self-analytical!
Luckily, so is the hubby. I can't imagine living with a type-A!

Depends on how much or how little coffee I've had
Just kiddin, though I am easier to be around in the am with coffee--that's why I always pack extra!
Overall I think I'm kind of laid back so B- to C+
On the A side, my family gestures when they talk so it could be genetic, it might have evolved from a time when we had to have a way of keeping flies off the food
I have trouble sitting still but that's because my 4 year old doesn't sit still!
If you've ever driven in Detroit you'd think we were all A something or others...
I do like checklists and being organized, is that under the A type?

No, it has to be a "B" trait because that is the first thing I do everyday. Being organized helps me have a relaxed, low stressed day. If I didn't plan my day and week, I'd be a stressed out type "A" for sure. But it could be a "C" trait because my wife does it too, but my boss is the clutter king and he's definately type "A".

Don’t think I’m all “A” or “B”- -they appear to be extreme conditions.
Years ago some thought I was a square.
Perhaps I bridge the gap between the two and I’m a “C-square.”
Could I be an individual with a Pythagorean personality?

Well, after reading your definitions.... I am probably a little of everything. Since retirement I am much more laid back than before... however, if I forget to take my HRT.... I turn into a wreck.... heaven help anyone in the way! When my son was still living at home, if I seemed unusually grumpy, he would quietly ask, "Mom, have you had your 'moans [hormones] today?"
Other than that... I move at retirement speed!
