The clear connector can be straight or curved. Might be worth a try.

Yes, we looked at them at the Oregon repair place....I may need to take a picture up under there, so y'all can get the full flavor of this design flaw.

I may have posted this before, but I'm going to post it again...it's my thread, after all, and in the Off Topic Forum here.

Men, you may want to pass on this one.

I have long, low maintenance hair, that gets washed most days because my head sweats, and easily. I usually wear it up, or in a tucked braid, but still like it to have body and oomph....I am a girl, after all, and most of us like our hair to be nice, regardless of how we style it. I rarely use hair products, but residue still accumulates.

I used to use a clarifying shampoo once a week, and still do, but latched onto adding a tablespoon or two of baking soda to it about once a month to do a deep cleanse...and I am hooked.

The baking soda removes all impurities, and restores body and bounce, tho is not recommended for color treated hair.

There's lots of different ways to use baking soda on your hair, but this is what I do...

1-2 tablespoons baking soda
Mix with a good glob of clarifying shampoo.

Work into wet hair, leave a few minutes, and rinse thoroughly.

Rinse with 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar mixed with 1 1/2 cups warm water, then rinse thoroughly. This step is important.

I follow damp dried hair with a bit of my usual Organics moisturizing hair oil.

Yes, you may smell slightly like dill pickles til your next shampoo, but if you have limp and lifeless locks, don't knock this til you've tried it.

I also like the shampoo bars from Lush.com for travel. Pricey, but one lasts even me a couple of months, and worth it.

There, my hair care tips for today.

Dump valve...fixed!

The new valve had been angled straight out, and slightly up.

All Seasons RV in Ogden, Utah, removed a few bolts, angled it downward slightly, and my modified Rhino hose connection now fits.

Kudos to them for handling this issue for a traveler passing thru.

I had a beautiful drive just as far as Evanston, WY, today, sadly saying bye-bye to the Snake River but noticing I am now not only following the Oregon Trail but also the old Pony Express route.

I am going to miss the Snake, some of the prettiest River area I have ever seen..bank full, lush and beautiful.

Trees are red, orange and gold in these higher elevations, and when I got to Evanston the temps had dropped to 40 degrees.

In til Sunday at a very nice campground here, with beautiful trees, reasonable rates and directly across from the bathhouse and laundry.

There is a storm system where I just came from in Utah that is headed this way and may bring snow, so staying put a couple of nights is an excellent idea...can then head out on Sunday to poke around Fort Bridger, Lyman and Green River.

I'm going to walk Lily, crochet, drink tea....a bit of me time.

Hi Gail! Want to meet at Starbucks?

I am at the Phillips RV Park in Evanston, WY, and was just reading the back of their map/rules/info sheet...this campground has been open since 1936, and continuously operated by the same family.

Is that not amazing?!

I love it....they would have hosted some of the earliest RV's, perhaps even Wally Byam himself.

Celebrating their 80th anniversary this year!

We have stayed there. Look for the path along the river to the West. It's a nice walk there.

Nothing on the road better than a good - honest technician. Good it's "flowing".

The Pony Express is one of my favorite pieces of US History.

Yep...this was a blue-collar place, not one of those servicing 40 foot Monaco's, etc., but he knew exactly what he was doing and took care of the problem in short order.

I was pleased, and grateful.

I found no online reviews, but an A+ rating from the BBB, so I did a review on All Seasons RV there. The right thing to do.

Light rain had started here late yesterday, and a look outside this morning revealed a good inch or so of snow and ice covering everything.

A good day to be hooked up to electricity, and to stay put.

Having free wifi here, and the campground sparsely populated, I have indulged a bit.

I watched this tonight, and it was very good....about an American Unitarian minister and his wife, who went to Czechoslovakia and then France, to help Jews escape the Nazis.

She was a Social Worker.

Frost on the ground here this morning.

There was 2" of snow here yesterday morning.

Time for lower elevations.
