Just found this on ebay for a BIN price of $90,000 Incredible! I suppose someone might buy it if they are into designer labels but come on....

No outside full body shots???

$100,000 insurance - you can insure anything you want for any price - Will they PAY?

OK interior - well done and I am sure pricy but just OK.

GOOD LUCK!

I had already seen this Ebay listing yesterday, and thought the same thing. I think that I would prefer an '08 27 FB and and '08 3500 Duramax for that much money, but to each his own.

Unreal.
I mean, it's nice, but not that nice...
I do like the orange awning tho - am going to order a new one soon but am wondering how soon I'd get tired of orange.

90 Grand for a 33 year old 27 footer? Not likely, I don't care HOW much THEY have it insured for. It looks like IKEA exploded inside to me... I wonder if they took care of the frame and suspension or just did the interior.

Look close. The awning has a tear near the bottom. It is a 31', not 27', but sheesh. Maybe I should insure our Sovereign for more than the $10K it is currently insured for...

IMHO,

You could have David Winnick do a total frame-off restoration for about half that and have at least as cool an itnerior and probably nicer! I think they are a little self-consumed by this trailer.

Sounds like this 'designer' really sold them a bill of goods and besides......who really cares what they have it insured for. If that's what they have in it, maybe they paid a little too much .

Where do you think those "sleeps 4" people sleep. It is very well done and they are proud of the frig. since most of the pictures have it in them, BUT I agree, it's not worth the price. No mention of upgrades on the axels or running gear.

It's all marketing for a high priced item like this. I don't think ebay is the optimal target market.

I wish him success.

The owner is probably trying to get the $$$ out that s/he put into it! I like the design, BUT....

Good luck....I guess you just need to find someone for whom cost is no object!

Either that or the $90K is a "don't ask" kinda BIN.

Nice, but not likely it will sell....even at 1/2 the price. Heck, you can buy the last Ralph Lauren trailer for about that ($100K) ~ and look how long it's been on the market. And he's "someone" everybody has heard of.

I'm sorry, but there just isn't an airstream out there that is worth $90k!
It looks nice, but for that many greenbacks, I would expect alot higher quality. Like how about a blinding polish?
My eagle eye spots quite a few deficiencies or subpar craftsmanship in too many of the pics. I've seen better work from quite a few of other forum members trailers - non professional, non "designers".

Never heard of "Lisbeth Beise" - do you suppose her parents spelled her name that way, or did it sound/look more supercilious

To copare...I think I would buy the new 2007 34' Classis with everything from solar to 2 A/C units and the whole options book thrown at it for $79,300 that Colonial RV has for sale before I would pay 90 grand for that.

Agreed. Or I would take our 74 Sovereign back to the factory, and let them do a complete rebuild of it, for less money.

Nice! But not that nice.

I think people put these prices on eBay in the hope that someone, somewhere, will bite. But the odds are pretty slim.

Not for me. Sloppy sealant in the bath and contact cement running down the wall paper on one of the cabinets. Little details that could be indicative of what is under the cover.

Ya know you can get a brand new 34' for that.

Glue running down the cabinet wall, scratches on the counter and the wall by the kitchen. No real bed ? and what if anything did they do the running gear, frame, and tanks etc.? Some of the design elements just aren't very functional for a travel trailer.

This is a used Airstream and it has the look of it. The designer that is mentioned doesn't seem to have a lot to show off as far as a website or previous projects.

It does look good for a '74. But not worth 90k. I think its worth about 10 - 15k.

I think they might be testing the waters so to speak, seeing what the market will bear.
