'76 Airstream Ambassador Rotting away

For a very long time I have been driving past this house that had all kinds of stuff in the yard. It was definitely a pickers place. This place has a 29' Airstream sitting in the grass. It has been sitting there for years. It looked great from the road. I finally stopped today with my wife to see if it was for sale. The person who owned it was the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. I put him in his late 80's. He was interested in selling it but when I went down to the trailer and stepped inside I realized the whole floor was rotten. The beds, refrigerator, and kitchen counter were gone. It was pretty much gutted. The outside looked great, but way to much of a project for me. The aluminum propane tanks were missing and the tires were dry rotted.

I don't even know if this good person would even know where the title was. If I was retired and I had it in a barn to do a full monte I would buy it. I have way to much on my plate at this time for another project. I suspect it is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Brian

It made me sad to see it sitting there rotting away.
