What's the tow rating of that baby? I thought they had a Chevy drivetrain, a 305 or something? A 2.2 Volvo (yuck) may be a bit anemic. Would be interesting to see one hooked up to a Bambi, huh? I am sure some Canadian has already done it. (Sorry, hope I didn't rekindle some old fires) Do you think anyone has ever tried to polish one of them? ala Cyclo or otherwise?

I worked for a Delorean dealer...a long time ago. The Volvo engine is a only a bit weak, but will surprise you, and can go 500,000 miles with good maintenance.
The shell is stainles steel and some have been painted, but look great as they are with a bit of cleaning.
Would look cool towed on a trailer behind an Airstream motorhome imhop.
Not endorsing this sale as I am unfamiliar with the specific car, but knowing Frank from this website its probably a gem.

Could you only vision how cool it would be to pull an A/S with a DeLorean if it were possible!

Nice car!

I am a collector I will buy it for 40,000.
Seeing as how Frank posted his ad almost three years ago, I doubt it is still for sale.

You may want to PM him to confirm.
