WTB Used tires for Argosy MH

I've been limping around the Gulf coast on the rubber that was on my 28 when I found it 3 years ago. Finally dry rot has taken over. I'm think about used tires as opposed to new in order to save some $$, especially considering it gets driven less than 1000 miles annually. I think the size is 8 R 19.5. Found a set on ebay, but think the auction closed before I could confirm the size would have fit. I think they went for $250 for 6.
Any suggestions? One of you members wanna replace your's with new tires? Also, someone suggested a different type on the front.

I copied your post to the motorhome area as it will probably get more attention here.
Also you might read some of the " tire" posts, by putting tires in the 'search' area, there are some really good discussions on this subject. It is too easy to get hurt by saving a few dollars on tires, as you will probably hear from others who have experienced that.

Wouldn't buying used tires be just buying someone else's problem?
