I get to polish the inside!

Way too cold to polish the outside right now...so instead I'm removing furniture and vinyl from the inside. How is your polishing coming?

You are a brave guy Steve. It will be a lot of work, but worth it when done. As for your stripe removal folks, I wish you had tried my method of striping over the wood. It has been on mine through a lot of weather and miles and still looks great.
Now if I can fiond the 2" black stripe to redo the upper one on the 280. I just missed a roll on Ebay 100' for 15 bucks, buy was I ticked. Forgot to bid in time. That size is hard to find.
I will tackle the lower grey repaint in the early spring as well.

Steve has waaaay to much time (and energy) on his hands. But it'll sure be a showstopper when he's done. How about some photos, Steve.

Me too. But, the stripe-stripping is done. All I have left to do now is sand, acid etch, prime, paint, seal and apply the new stripe

Me too. How you going to do that; strip or stripe over it?

Your words often come back to haunt me. I'm all ears now Guess that's why you're the Super Moderator

I deal with quite a few different graphics companies at my regular job and have found a good source for the 3" woodgrain decal. A 150' roll for $150.00. I am sure they can also supply the 2" black or any other custom colors or designs you might be thinking about.
Contact Chris at Trademark Graphics. 1-800-245-8834 or they have a web site www.trademarkgraphicsinc.com .

Lightbulb It's been a while

Last year I tired some stuff I picked up at, (this is where my brain leaves me..I just can't remember) either WalMart or HomeDepo.. this stuff that took the adhesive right off the surface.
I'm at work now but, will look for it's name when I get home..
Also, on a similar vein..I came across a TV special...thinking it was on the History Channel, abt this company in Ca., that did artwork for studios. The thing that was special about this company was the huge machine and the size of the artwork decal that they could produce. The name was MobileGraphics or something that started with Cinema in its name. I hate it when you see something for a flash and, then try to recall it later..Grrrrr, but..it's a lead.?
Okay..I found this site~!! It looks like they could make your decal for you..Check it out and, let us know..MobileGraphics

Good luck..
No luck with Aircraft Stripper??

ciao
