Window broken, where is best place to go

Woke up Sat. morning and found the reat window on my 34 Limited shattered and on the ground. Taped up. Called Airstrem and they sent me to dealer. The cost is $230.00 + shipping and tax.
Question , is there an alternative?

Plastic and tape...

I don't think the price is outrageous, try breaking a couple of Vista Views...

There are a couple of AS salvage yards around, Colaw's in Missouri is one that comes to mind.

Try pricing automotive windows. When I bought my Interstate, some vile miscreant broke out the passenger-side front window that same night and stole the Kenwood head unit out of the dashboard. (Side note, even before I bought the Interstate, I made an appointment to get an alarm installed; the thief beat me to it).

The new window alone was $250, which coincidentally was the deductable on my insurance. This for a stock Sprinter van window, not a custom cut-to-fit window. Your $230 price tag for your rear trailer window is entirely reasonable.

You can avoid the tax only by buying that window from an out of state dealer.
