what the heck is that?

Having seen a few Airstream trailers that ambitious folk turned onto motorhomes, this one was no surprise, but is unusual nevertheless as it is built on a Dodge Chassis, much like the Travco coach of that era.
Now on Ebay for the serious rebuilder ...

Rather interesting, I sure hope it has decent ventilation up front, without any opening windows. And I guess that opening right below the drivers window is the coin drop for bridge tolls? Still fun to look at anyway. Jeff

Supposedly this is not home built, the ebay ad says it was a manufacturer who bought the shell and mounted them. In my research this is the only one I have ever come across like this though. There have been others on various chassis.
If they had only waitied a few years the Argosy would have been available.

Could it be an Ambassador? Maybe a 27'. What a project, hopefully the buyer will join the forum or be one of us.

Sometimes I would rather have a motor home.......

I was tempted to take the wheels and axle off of my trailer and mount
the trailer on a flatbed truck.
