What model/year is this?

Hello. My brother caught a picture of this outside his workplace. I was wondering if any of the experts here could tell me any of the specifics on this? Mainly interested in the year.

Thanks!

My guess is that it's an old Flxible brand passenger bus that was converted to a motorhome a long time ago. See the flxibleowners.org website for more info...

Looks like a "Flxible Bus" to me . . . probably built in the mid 50's

That looks like a 1948 Flxible. Originally, it would have had an inline 6 cylinder gas engine in the rear, and that funny scoop on the roof was the air intake for engine and cooling.

Yep fixable from the early 50s I'd guess. The fairing piece on the rear bumper to the body makes that one called a duck tail.
I ran into a very nicely converted one last summer at Laguna Seca.

The owners of this fixable did the conversion themselves and it came out beautifully. Their ceiling solution would fit in our curved roofs nicely.
They used that old style pressed metal. It looked even better in person.
