Ray,
I got my supplies from Inland RV.

Here's a thread with some useful information on how to proceed.

Be very careful when ordering from Inland. They got the fuzzy window channel and the vertical divider strip right for me but sent me some bizar fat weatherstrip that was supposed to be the opening sliding window outside w/s. Let me know if they get it right for you as I'm still in need of the outside W/S for those opening / sliding windows.

Glen,
If we're talking about cockpit windows (driver, passenger) I got everything from Inland. The first vertical divider strip they sent me was too small, but after I spoke with Andy he sent me the correct stuff, NC.

My windows had 4 different products -
1. Fuzzy channel
2. Some fuzzy stuff which makes a vertical seal between the two windows (this is the stuff that was wrong at first)
3. Some 'rubber' type weatherstripping that makes a vertical seal on the sliding window.
4. Some 'rubber' type weatherstripping which goes around the perimeter of the window on the outside.

Would you like me to try to find my paperwork to get the correct product numbers?

Guy, yes please! Actually if you post it here it would be a great resource for all.
It might even be a great resource for Inland too.
I'm still wondering why they can't get it right the first time...it's not like you're the first to order this combination of w/s.
I didn't need the fuzzy divider strip and was happy at that because that looked like a tough one to install for sure.
Thanks for your help.

Here we go:

The vertical seal is part #34713
The seal which goes around the exterior circumference is part # 34708
The channel is part #34696.

I'm not sure about the fuzzy stuff that goes between the windows since the first product I got (and the one on my invoice) wasn't correct.

Guy, I find it unbelievable that after selling something to a customer they don't have the ability to duplicate the order for another. It's not rocket science!
Thanks for posting the part numbers. I'll verify them tomorrow with Outdoorsmart in NC. I'll post to confirm they are AS numbers.
Closing in on keeping dry!

Glen,
I don't know if they are airstream numbers. They match what is found on the Inland RV web site.

Are AS part important? OR NOT!

Hello all -

Have been reading about Andy and Inland RV since I started on the site. He is JUST a vendor right?!

From all the verbage and knowledge (grudgingly given) it would seem that AS'ers are more than a serious chunk of $'s to Inland and to Andy. Good for them, if they earn it.

You would think that they (Inland) would make ordering parts and pieces for your MH/ trailer an easy thing.

The W/S is a classic example.... They ought to have the capacity to 'see' that "others with similar MH's have ordered #'s A,B, and C.... Does that sound right?" "We also have D, E, and L,M,N,O, P if you need them..."

Not happening. Obviously.

Seems you have to "know exactly what you need" with a 'part number', every time you approach them. I haven't dealt with them so far, but this is everything I read from others.

The AS knowledge that is out there in the brains of people at Inland, and MANY places elsewhere is just going to vanish!!!!! unless there is a concerted effort to create a database. Someone else mentioned that this ain't rocket science.... no, this is more important! It is AS science.

OK, kidding about the 2nd & 3rd part of the last sentance.

JC!!! ARE YOU LISTENING???? INLAND??? EVERYONE ELSE!!!!

I do know via reading posts that there are many other parts suppliers that are far more forward leaning as far as customer service, anticipation of needs in both parts and products, and reasonable prices across the board.... The MORE the MERRIER!!!!!!

Not trying to knock/ pick on Andy or Inland....

Just a few thoughts.

Axel

O.K. now I'm really confused. Just got of the phone with Our of Doors Mart in NC. Paul in parts says the following are correct part numbers.

Trim seal 685044 $1.99 ft.
Vir. Lip seal 684919 .. was not in stock.

So how do we get all these other numbers ZoomZoom... or do you just happen to work at Inlandrv?

I would guess the fin seal is the fuzzy stuff with a 'vane' down the middle which is the interior seal between the 'vertical' bar and the moving window.

Zoom, zoom, Thanks for the reference document.
