URGENT: Need '86 345 transport

Due to very unfortunate circumstances of a personal emergency nature, I needed to leave my "new" '86 345 at a campground outside Denver CO. I was supposed to drive it back to my home here near Flagstaff, AZ but instead had to fly home.

I won't be able to get back there for a few months now and the vehicle has only SIX day temp tags. I desperately need someone to drive it to AZ for me ASAP. It has just had 10k in mechanical and brake and tire work and is in good driving condition. The inside is also in great condition.

Can anyone help or suggest someone who can help? Please, please send me any info you think would be good. I don't even know if it can be in storage there with the temporary tags.

Have you checked with getting an extension on the temp tag.
You might try Jefferson County DMV at 303-271-8100.

OK everybody here's an update. The Moho needs to go from the Denver area to Taos, NM area. I have talked to Jean, the owner, and a potential plan is to drive my smart with Mike Leary down, fetch the Moho, deliver and head home. We don't want any money, just expenses, and the smart is very economical to drive.

Jean is happy with the plan and it's fine with Mike and I. Now fuel for the smart is cheap but food and motels to get there and back is a bit more. Jean seems happy but Mike and I are concerned with spending more of Jean's money than necessary if somebody closer wanted to do the move.

Bottom line if anybody can and wants to make the move speak up. We are always in for a road trip, I just don't want to be in Jean's pocket book any deeper than necessary.
