Rear View Camera and Monitor.

Last fall there was a thread about a good buy on a rear view unit and I ordered one and installed it. It works great. Now a friend wants one, and I have done many searches without finding that thread.

Is the "Search" feature working right. It gives me hundreds of threads for each search. That can't be right can it?

Does anyone remember that thread. Can you find it and PM it to me?

Thanks Andy. Course we don't have a Costco anywhere near here. Maybe he could get it off their web site.

Bought one from Costco in December, it did not work and returned it. The second one works sometimes. I need to move the antenna to find the right spot. I am not very impressed with it.

Hey Gang,

Just got a notice about a new, high-quality PORTABLE back-up camera with a hand-held color monitor and a magnetic mount waterproof camera. The monitor has a 2.5" color screen with a reversible image.

I have one on order and will post as soon as I get it.

MSRP...............$309

Stay tuned............................................. ............

I've been contemplating getting one of these myself because I just can't see how I'll get over the hurdle of hitching up when I'm by myself. A friend of mine at work who owns a travel trailer (not an AS, but hey) says that he got used to doing his thing well enough that he thinks they're a waste of money. I'm curious what you all think? How many of you use back up cameras?

Hitching solo was never a problem for me....it just toom a lot o time in and out of the driver's seat to be SURE you were right 'on the ball'.

Now, with a camera, it's a one-shot deal and if anyone's watching, they usually make some comment about how they could never do that!

Sure cuts down on the time spent hitching up!

Nope, none of those. I have the system and like it. Just can't find it on the web anymore. Got it off EBAY.
