proper bulb for large door light?

Hey what's the proper bulb for the large door light? I melted the lense with the wrong bulb and now have a new lens but not a bulb. 1981 28 ft motorhome

An 1141 bulb works fine. It's not as bright but won't melt the new lens either.

Has anyone tried an LED bulb for the porch light? I'm working on the porch light for my '72 International, which has an 1141 in it but doesn't seem to work at all right now.

It would work, but you may need to modify the mount for the bulb so it will point down, if it doesn't point down on your coach. The LED's are pretty directional as far as emitting light.
