Numeric Entry Door Lock Combination/reprogram

Hello, We are new, somewhat, to the form. We bought our 345 LE last fall(2003) and it has a numeric entry door combination lock on it that the P/O somehow forgot the combination to. So, does any body know how to change, or reprogram this lock. I dont know that we would use it but in case it would lock somehow I would like to get in to our home. I could disable it totaly but it is kind of neat. Any help would be great. Best to all and a wonderfull summer. Tom

Yon can email Airstream and give them you VIN or serial #, they will send you the original code and instructions on how to enter your own personal code.

At least they did for me.

I just use the factory set code and it works fine.

Entry door code

Thanks Don, I just called A/S and they do not keep the codes any longer. I am going to look around the door hinge and cabinet door as had been suggested on anothe post and see if I can find somthing there. Thanks, Tom

look on the control module itself

In another thread about keyless entry it was mentioned that the main control module for the keyless entry unit had the permanent code affixed as a label to the module. Also, it seems to have been made by Ford.

Here is the thread.

Here is another that mentions the label on the module and it's whereabouts (on a TT).

Hello All, Dave, Thanks for the info. on the for "motocraft" box. I found mine under the sink on the curb side, a 5"x3" box (plastic) on the wall with a # on factory ID tape with a 5 didget # and became a "contortionist" with a couple realy good charle horses but I punched the # in and "WALLA" it worked. Well another stunning mistery solved. I bet there will be more guys and gals out there in the A/S tonight crawling around on the floor with a mirror and flash light looking for the"BOX" Thanks very much for the comeback and the info. that even A/S factory could not supply. Tom

Hi all, speaking of the digital entry (using instead of key), how do I get it fixed? It quit working and I can't find any info in the owner's notebook about it. I have a 92 motorhome.
Thanks in advance for your help--you folks have always come through.
