Northern California Airstream Motorhome Repair for my 1983 310

Hey there

I have a 310 in need of some small electrical repair, emergency brake is stuck off, thankfully, tune up to pass inspection and smog pump for the 454. Lost my instrument panel when I replaced the solenoid for the batteries. Also any good ideas for new window blinds, thinking bamboo venetian.

Heard of someone north of Sacramento but can't find them now.

I am in Sacrmento currently.

Thanks

Scott

Will post something when I find it. How do you like that diesel? I wish I had it, having trouble with smog here in CA.

15 mpg, burns no oil, not as fast as you are on the hills, though.

If you end up being south of Sacramento, heading down 101, check with Nielsen Automotive in Gilroy, 408-847-6004. Dave does good work on big block motors (ex race car builder/mechanic). He does not have a smog cert but works with a local shop that does. He's also good on electrical stuff.

Hutchins Auto in Redding (530 221-5113) has worked on my 310 for several years. They've been able to repair everything I've brought to them (including some weird stuff). Ask for Chuck the owner tell him Guy sent you.
