Most basic question ever

Please, no comments about how many of me does it take to change a light bulb.
So how do you take off the diffuser to get to the lightbulbs in the overhead light fixtures? They don't appear to be like the other AS fixtures where you squeeze to deform them enough to slide them out. I tried to gently squeeze one, but it seems firm. We all know how brittle 40yo plastic can be. Does the metal frame come out? The correct answer will earn you the right to one joke at my expense, such as 'How many noobs...'

You list 3 different trailers.

Which one is the question about?
