Metal roofing

I want to convert the rubber roofing with an aluminum or stell roof. Who ever thought of rubber roofing should by whipped.
I own a 1995 Land Yacht 33 motorhome. Does anyone know who I should contact to buy the metal for the roof?

Thanks Lonnie Stepp

I know, rubber roofs are short lived even it you wash, clean and coat them. I've repair ones that have 'torn' with cheese cloth and sealer. It only works short term as in every 3-4 months resealing is required.

Metal Roof

Thanks about the cheese cloth idea. I am basicall a lazy person. I would rather install a metal roof, like on a school bus or 18 wheeler trailers use.

Are you sure its rubber and not fiberglass? If it is original AS only used fiberglass.

roof

I will have to double check. Sam's Club's repair people said it has holes in it and it needs to be repaired. I bought parts from a 1994 in Texas. Its roof had rotted off, rusting all the bows, and distroying the furiture. I saw photos of another Land Yacht in Canada on this sited that the same thing had occured. Leaving in Phoenix the desert generally blesses us little rain. However, this year is like 1979 when it rained all winter. I assume fiberglass will not leak?? However I did locate a place near San Franscio that sells rolls of aluminum roof for RVs. If it is rubber It will be replaced with Aluminum in the near future.
Thank-You
