Jackson Center Upgrades?

We're planning a July trip to attend a wedding near JC.

If you were so close to the factory, would there be any upgrades you'd consider doing?


This unit is a 2016 Interstate Extended

What Interstate options don't you already have? Most come well equipped. The VB Air Suspension would be a good upgrade if you don't have it already, but I'm not sure Airstream will do air suspension upgrades.

Problem is, except for the air suspension, everything on an Interstate comes as standard equipment.

If you have the auxiliary battery under the hood, you might talk to the Jackson Center folks about removing the relay between the starting battery and auxiliary battery so that they're permanently connected in parallel, doubling your cold-cranking amps. With the relay in place, the battery under the hood is dead weight because nothing is powered by it and it's not connected to the starting battery until AFTER the engine is running. Who knows, if you can convince them, that might become a standard procedure on future models.

Definitely do the tour. I go through it every 4 or 5 years. Learn something every time.
