I'll come through with something, though!
Becky, you could Google the name of the funeral home, you may get the correct phone number that way.

I have no idea of the name of the funeral home. I just found out his name yesterday. He's a regular customer of 100's of them, so the fact that I even had a lengthy conversation with him is coincidental to say the least! Don't worry, he'll be back. After all, it's corn & watermelon season!

Corn and watermelon? What could a funeral home possibly want with--Uhh, never mind, I don't think I want to know.

Just like the last FC scare... new guy posts about one and then never comes back to the forum, never replies to emails.

These things are like phantoms. You hear about them but actual sightings are rare for sure.

Really, Glen, the guy is real! I'm not a new person on the forums either & I have no purpose for getting anyone excited for no reason. I'm sure he's legit & I'll get his number shortly. Just a little glitch! I just can't believe he has 2 of them!

I'm sure he is real. I'm just laughing about the fact that each time we've heard of a funeral coach coming up .... it doesn't.

I know they're real, I've got one. Most folks don't believe they where actually made.

They are real

I have a FFC (Family Funeral Coach), so I know they are real. Mine was built with the casket area in back and a regular motorhome in front. I spoke to the funeral home that first titled it and they confirmed its initial usage.

My casket area has been converted to a bedroom.

Hey Paul! Thanks for the post and links to the photos of your FC. Are you 28' or longer.

I note your entry door is a bit farther back than mine. I'd love to see the interior.

Please keep in touch and let me know if you're traveling into SC/NC. Two FC's in one location would be quite a first.

FYI my comments where about "hearing" of FC's coming up for sale. They are always rumored but never quite come to the table.

I believe mine is 31ft long. It would be great to get them together to compare notes.

Paul, I wasn't sure when I looked at the curb side of mine. Due to the four big windows I have there but yours sure looked longer to me.

You said your coach had a standard moho interior up front. Do you mean head, galley and overhead cabinetry too?

I had thought they all got prepared as lounge type people hauler configurations. Shows what I know.

I'm anxious to see your interior. Got any photos?

It has a full interior forward of the casket area. I can see where there was some structure there, but it was gone by the time I bought it. Water tanks and a rudimentary base for the bed are there with a full width storage area acessible from the curb side casket door which still remains. The drivers side door looks like it has been covered up at some point, but the gas filler is there, so not sure how it would have worked.

Curbside from rear to front: Shower, wardrobe, fridge/freezer with status panel above, pantry, wide door with handrails, dinette.

Drivers side from rear: Toilet/sink, 4-burner stove/microwave/convection oven/exhaust fan, cutlery drawers, double sink/cabinet, fold out couch.

I will see what I can do with my camera.

Paul

AS Funeral Coach, huh?

I'm surprised that none of you have remarked that "people are dying to get into them".

Better watch out there Aage, we might have to haul you off to Barrie!

FYI for those of you who are geographically challenged Aage is located north of Toronto in Aurora, close to a major city called ... Barrie.

Seems a natural. An easy transition from what appears to be God's waiting room in some cases, to the real chariot.
Just kidding....
