Hydraulic Levelers info

Anyone have a Hydraulic leveler manual or info?
Mine work, but I have a red light on the LF even tho its up and locked. I also noticed that one of the springs is tweaked...
Who made the system, where do you get spares?

I installed an HWH system on my 28' moho. I bought the system used an bought mounting brackets from HWH. They have manuals and lots of info on their site. Pictures would help indentify your system for sure.

Cheers, Dan

I would check the limit switch power at the leveler, also ground connection.

Looks like A&E went out of business a few years back and HWH Corp picked up the Hydraulic Levelers side...
The 100 system looks pretty close, and I found a manual here..

Thats the same system as used on our 84 310. I have the manual but don't have it scanned in yet. If you can wait till after the weekend I can scan it and send you a copy.

You will find a sensor in the center of the underside of the coach attached to the floor. This is what is used to determine level.

There should be two sensor wires on each leveler, one for the up switch and one for the down switch. Mine had one of the wires broken near the hydraulic cylinder. I would suggest you look closely at each of the levelers and see if all wires appear to be attached.

Best I can do without the manual in front of me.

Brad
PS, do not use the rear levelers to raise the rear wheels off the ground, bad things can happen. Don't ask me how I know....

Cool...
I didnt understand what the green lights meant till i read the HWH system manual!
I dont think I have lifted the rear all the way up, but the front I did at a bad pitch... like this...

Please tell me what happened if ya do it at the rear???

Here is a pic of the spring that is tweaked...
Which happens to be on the ram that is giving me a red light...

It sounds like you have a copy of the manual. If so then I won't bother scanning mine in.

The levelers folded over backwards. Fortunately they were designed to do so but never the less it was a little embarrasing .

If the leveler goes up and down as it should I wouldn't worry about the spring. If on the other hand it has a hard time retracting then replacing the spring would be the thing go do.

Well if the HWH manual is similar, save your energy, but if it differs I would love to have a copy when you get a min.
Does your system have a buzzer?
I have a wierd noise in mine... sometimes I hear a "beep" start ... and then it fades away like its dying...

I don't remember if ours has a buzzer or not.

I'll go ahead and scan in the manual sometime in the near future.
