How we got our motorhome...a 345 LE
Well, we should soon be hitting t he road with our 345 and beetle in tow...but just finding our new home was a story in itself, my girlfriend spend a lot of time trying to recap most of what happened during our hunt...including one that blew up.... Hmm.. sounds like a long process. I thought riding a greyhound 800 miles to get mine was rough... but then again it was pretty rough, haha. However, so far i am happy with mine. I still have some work to do, and have done quite a but already, in the end it will be worth it.

Ya gotta love a story with a happy ending  .
I'm really impressed with your perseverance, not many people would go to the lengths you did to own an Airstream motorhome.

Welcome to the forums
What an Odyssey! Glad everything worked out for you. I had never been all that crazy about the motorhomes, but spending some time in Brad and Susan’s 310 last fall at the Branson rally really impressed me. I’ve been joking about getting a 345 to tow my 34’ Excella. Just think of it, almost 70’ of Airstream going down the highway.

That's C.A.M. for short. And yes, CONGRATS!!!!! We absolutely LOVE our 310, and you get 3.5 more feet to love of yours! Just be prepared to talk to everyone at the gas station or truck stop about how old it is and how their uncle had an Airstream and all that.

Did you keep a tally of how much gas money was spent in the search to find this?? haha... i bet that would've made a few camper payments. I finally put my bedroom back together tonight and got it all cleaned up, so i can try and get some inside pics and compare... i think you asked if i had any awhile back since we have pretty much the same moho.
